Tramway presents FRESH FACED Summer School

                                  DANCE
Mon 23 – Fri 27 July
10am – 4pm
£70 / AGES 14 – 18
 
The DANCE Summer School is led by professional dancer Rosalind Masson and offers an introduction to contemporary dance suitable for ages 14 – 18. All materials will be provided.
How does Tramway as a building or Glasgow as a city make you move? If the sculptures in the exhibition came alive how would they move?
Each day will consist of a morning practical session including warm up, 1-hour lunch break, afternoon choreography and cool down. Clothing and footwear suitable for exercise should be worn. There will be an opportunity for an informal showing on the final afternoon
 
               CRITICAL WRITING
Mon 30 July – Fri 3 August
10am – 4pm
£70 / AGES 14 – 18
 
The YOUNG CRITICS Summer School is led by professional writer and critic Gareth Vile (Subcity / The Skinny / Vile Arts) and offers an introduction to critical writing and arts journalism. Each day will consist of a morning masterclass, a 1-hour lunch break, and an afternoon practical writing session.
Cost includes access to programmed exhibitions and events in Tramway plus tickets to a performance in The Edinburgh Fringe.
