​Meet Artist and Illustrator Alice Dansey-Wright, who has been commissioned by us to reimagine the corner room in the Tramway Café as an engaging space for children and families.

Alice.jpgAs part of the research and development process Alice is holding two Open Studio events:  While she'll be working on her ideas and designs in the corner room she invites you to stop by to have a chat, discuss her ideas and provide feedback.
The first Open Studio is from 12-5pm on Thursday 21st July- stop by and say hello!

Artist Bio
Alice Dansey-Wright is an Artist and  Illustrator focussed primarily on social, collaborative and publicly engaged projects. She has lived and worked in Glasgow for 15 years and originally came to study Environmental Art at Glasgow School of Art. Her work always starts with and is centred around drawing but she uses a variety of techniques including printmaking, painting, collage, and creative digital software. She is inspired by folk art and traditional crafts and the themes in her work include value, accessibility and ownership.
