NIC Kay email.jpgThis Saturday 26 October, as Dance International Glasgow 2019 draws to a close, the final day of this year's genre-busting festival is packed with performance which will push the boundaries of what dance is, and where dance can or should be.

Audiences will be able to immerse themselves in a number of free performances in different spaces, starting with Barrowland Ballet's Wolfpack, from 12 -12.30pm, with an intergenerational performance in our jaw-dropping Nick Cave exhibition. At 2pm, join us for NIC Kay's pushit!!, a site-specific performance which will begin in an outdoor location near Tramway, and finish in the venue (visit this website on Fri 25 Oct to get full location info!). Also from 2 - 6pm, Zadie Xa presents multimedia performances in her new exhibition, which opens this weekend. And from 4.30 - 6.30pm Lucy Suggate & Collaborators take over the Tramway Studio with Spirit Compass, a durational work commissioned by The Baltic and Siobhan Davies Dance. There will be reprise of this work from 10-11pm as well.

On Saturday evening we are also delighted to welcome a ticketed double bill from Scottish Dance Theatre, featuring The Circle* by the hugely influential Emanuel Gat, and Looping: Scotland Overdub, a street festival-inspired ceilidh led by Brazilian dance collective 70ito: The programme begins at 7pm, with discounted double bill tickets available for £22/£13. These pieces will also be performed on Friday 25 October.

Join us for one more chance to DIG in to some of the most exciting contemporary dance happening worldwide, right now!
