You may have recently heard that the BBC has revived the seminal Radiophonic Workshop with composer and producer Matthew Herbert at the helm. The workshop was famously created in 1958 as a sound effects unit for the BBC but ended up pushing forward the boundaries of electronic music with many electronic artists working today citing it's influence.
We'll be getting a taster of what might be in store at the Workshop when Matthew Herbert brings his live band (including fellow Workshop member Yann Seznec) to Tramway to perform the album One Pig on 3 November.
