Matthew Herbert at BBC Radiophonic Workshop

Posted on 12 Oct 2012 in News, Performance, Music

You may have recently heard that the BBC has revived the seminal Radiophonic Workshop with composer and producer Matthew Herbert at the helm. The workshop was famously created in 1958 as a sound effects unit for the BBC but ended up pushing forward the boundaries of electronic music  with many electronic artists working today citing it's influence.

We'll be getting a taster of what might be in store at the Workshop when Matthew Herbert brings his live band (including fellow Workshop member Yann Seznec) to Tramway to perform the album One Pig on 3 November.

Early bird tickets are still available until 22nd October - full price pay concessionary rate.
