Holly Rumble, Artist and Public Engagement Co-ordinator at Tramway has been named one of the recipients at the Marsh Awards for Excellence in Gallery Education at a celebration in Hull.

This year, five people received awards presented by David Booker, Ambassador for the Marsh Christian Trust, during the annual Engage International Conference in Hull.

The Marsh Awards for Excellence in Gallery Education, which began in 2011, are annual awards aiming to recognise those working in Gallery Education who have shown dedication or innovation in their work.

The winners receive £500 to spend on their professional development, and Holly will use her award to 'develop my delivery techniques, and to visit colleagues from other international galleries, as well as raising the profile of Tramway as a place where learning is integral to our programme.'

Holly was nominated by Jo Walmsley, Arts Producer at Tramway, for her ‘unrelenting energy and commitment to providing meaningful opportunities for audience engagement with contemporary art’, particularly through Tramway's regular TRYOUT sessions, which she programmes and leads.
