Sonica: Triptych by Robin Fox

A growling bass drone activates antic threads of laser light; a fat thrum of sound causes the beams to wax wide; as tones ascend into higher pitches, webs of lights flicker with intense colour in response. Known for live performances where techno meets white noise and buzzing electronica, in Triptych Robin Fox employs custom-made hardware to split image generation and audio amplification into equal parts, filling the space with volumes of light perfectly synchronised to his music.
