Aniela Piasecka - Slip of the Tongue

Residency 10 - 14 August

Aniela Piasecka will be working on 'Slip of the Tongue', a performance-in-progress taking the form of a participatory somatic experience choreographed around the tongue and the potential of sensorial echoes elsewhere.

The residency will be spent further developing a script for the artist to perform, initially created during a Magnetic Fluxus residency at Villa Arson earlier in 2026. This script creates a journey connecting anatomy with sensation that plays with the strange erotics of corporeity; drawing on queer and crip aesthetics. The intended work will provide space to engage in the possibility of noticing and digesting information within a collective event, contaminating and being contaminated in turn through the interplay of voice, breath and shared space.
