Bishop May Down and Emma Lewis-Jones

Bishop May Down and Emma Lewis-Jones are both performance makers and facilitators based in Glasgow.

The pair are using the residency for initial research and development of Insistence: A Butch Ballet, a new socially-engaged ensemble dance project exploring butch identity and experience. Their studio research will focus on developing an accessible and adaptable devising framework for working with butch community participants.
