This residency will focus on experimental research and development for a new performance project by Bruno Gallagher, “Europe, Meine Liebe, Mon Amour, A Performance in Eight Absurdities.”
Taking the form of absurd, costumed, physical performance vignettes inspired by his travels in Europe, the series also brings in elements of autobiography. Activities will centre around creative play with ideas of costume-dictated altered and restricted movement, object manipulation, masks, puppetry and response to sound.
This residency is also supported by a Creative Fund Award from Puppet Animation Scotland. Produced by Feral.
