Ancestral Mask Making Workshop with Greer Pester
Join artist and workshop leader Greer Pester to create a special ancestral mask and hood, inspired by our current exhibition •~TUA~• 大眼 •~MAK~• by Rae Yen Song 宋瑞渊.
Explore ancestral lines and connected spiritual beasts through colour, texture, collage and playful making in this family-friendly drop-in session where you’ll cut, layer and decorate your own wearable design. Come along to make something strange and wonderful - wear your weird!
Suitable for all ages and abilities. Children should be supervised by a parent or guardian.
What to expect:
A relaxed, drop-in session - you’re welcome to join at any point and stay for as long as you like. A warm, welcoming space where all creative abilities are encouraged. No experience needed, just curiosity and openness.
You'll go home with:
A handmade wearable mask and hood, shaped by your own ideas, textures and imagination.
All materials provided.
This is a drop-in session and spaces are available on a first-come basis. At busy times, you may be asked to wait briefly for a space.
ACCESS
This workshop takes place in the Tramway Café Mezzanine, which is wheelchair accessible.
