Tramway Beyond Walls brings contemporary circus to Pollok Park

JOURNEY by Cirqulation, Scotland’s travelling contemporary circus ensemble, is a stunning, emotionally resonant ride through stories of change, challenge, and connection.

This vibrant touring showcase of thrilling, theatrical circus acts is performed by some of the country’s most exciting artists. Each edition features a fresh mix of aerial, acrobatics, dance and poetic storytelling, and features a guest artist from the local area.

This edition of JOURNEY will be performed outside The Burrell Collection in Pollok Park, from 3pm to 4pm. It is free, and open to all.

ACCESS
JOURNEY is open to, and suitable for, all ages. Due to the outdoor setting, there is no formal seating. Audiences are welcome to come and go throughout the performance.

Nearest facilities, including accessible toilets, in the Burrell Collection.

Cirqulation Ensemble is created by Delighters, an Edinburgh-based Circus Theatre company creating colourful, multi-artform shows since 2008. Blending circus, dance, puppetry, and storytelling with magic and mischief, they perform everywhere from festivals to forest clearings. Expect fire, silks, stilts, and surprises! Delighters also run fun, hands-on workshops for schools, communities, and anyone who loves to move.

Introduced in 2021, Tramway Beyond Walls is an ongoing strand of contemporary performance, visual art and creative participation which aims to engage with a diverse local audience outside of the physical limits of our building - in parks, community spaces, urban settings and more.

This production is supported by Creative Scotland Touring Fund for Theatre and Dance.
