Building on the acclaimed premiere of STRUT as part of Tramway's Dance International Glasgow 2021 local theatre makers MHz return to bring a children’s version of the show to the streets of Govanhill.  This time around they’ll be joining forces with the pupils of Cuthbertson Primary school.

STRUT is designed as a procession of outdoor dance performances partnered with a celebratory light show for audiences to encounter from pavements, windows and doorsteps. Children from local schools will be invited to show off their personal choreographies harnessing the power of freestyle dance as a universal expression of freedom, joy and sense of belonging. Bhangra, Jive, Romani, Hip-Hop, Afrobeats, Highland Dancing, Contemporary, Flamenco, Happy Hardcore… anything goes.

Timings and Instructions on where you can watch the final performances will be announced closer to the time.
