Destinations is a vibrant showcase of Scotland’s best youth dance companies offering a diverse line-up of performances, including the premiere of the National Youth Dance Company of Scotland’s new piece by 2017 guest choreographer Yael Flexer.

Destinations is part of the nationwide YDance Routes programme designed to inspire, develop and support Scotland’s thriving youth dance community.  As part of this, YDance (Scottish Youth Dance), has been rolling out a range of activities that offer workshops, performances, training and networking events to broaden the horizons of Scotland’s young dancers.

YDance is part of a European project called Let’s Dance. This includes Horizons- YDance’s integrated youth dance company for disabled and non- disabled dancers. An upcoming Tramway exhibition documents rehearsals, performances and exchanges, and includes photographs, videos showcasing Horizons' creative process.
