Mamoru Iriguchi - Size Matters

Mamoru Iriguchi (Eaten, What You See When Your Eyes Are Closed / What You Don’t See When Your Eyes Are Open) and collaborator Julia Darrouy are planning to explore and rehearse Size Matters, their wildly inventive new show, before it opens at the Citizens Theatre later in the month as a part of its Vanishing Point Winter Residency.

Blending puppetry, science and surrealist theatre, Julia and Mamoru and their puppet doubles explore how time and perception shift with size. If your heart beats slower, does time pass differently? What happens when puppeteers grow, but their puppets stay the same?

Playful, clever, and visually surprising, Size Matters is a joyful, mind-bending journey through time, perspective, and control.
