DIG presents Kate E Deeming: Four Corners
Date Every day from 20th Oct 2019 until 5th Nov 2019 Price Free - Drop-in - no ticket required All ages Location Various Locations

PLEASE NOTE - this project has now concluded, but you can see photographs documenting it in an on-street exhibition around Pollokshields until 6 November. Look for photos in local shop windows.

Join us for the launch of a unique art exhibition by Dance Activist Kate E. Deeming in partnership with children from four local primary schools. The afternoon is a culmination of dance sessions with 550 school kids, facilitated by Kate, shared outside in locations around Pollokshields, and captured by photographer Basharat Khan. From Sunday 20 October these photographs will be on display, on shop front windows around the neighbourhood, creating a unique on-street art museum.

The unique and ambitious project was conceived by Kate to remind us that although we come from different geographic, political, social and cultural spaces we can still find ways to move together.

This event is a celebration of the work created by Kate and hundreds of children, with an opportunity to see Khan's photographs, and watch - and participate in - some outdoor dancing!
