The arrival of the UK AIDS Memorial Quilt in Scotland inspired the Terrence Higgins Trust Living Well team to reflect on the power of creativity, community and storytelling. While the Quilt honours the past, Threads of Resilience looks to the present and the future, celebrating what it means to live, thrive, and age well with HIV today.
Together, we will create a vibrant community pennant banner made up of individual panels, each sharing a personal story, hope, dream, achievement, or message for the future. Whether it's a reflection of your journey, a symbol of resilience, or your vision for a brighter tomorrow, every contribution becomes part of a collective story — a shared piece of living history, showcasing not only where we have come from, but where we are going.
Join us for a relaxed and welcoming creative session. Whether you have a clear idea, want to explore your creativity, or simply enjoy being part of a community project, there is a place for you. No artistic experience is needed, and there is no right or wrong way to take part — just bring yourself, your ideas and your imagination, we'll provide the rest.
Because creativity helps us tell our stories in ways that words sometimes cannot. Because every experience matters, and every voice strengthens our community.
This event is part of a public programme curated by Steven Grainger to accompany the UK AIDS Memorial Quilt exhibition at Tramway.
