Speakers TV

Accompanying our live staging of Peaceophobia, Speakers TV is a series of four conversations curated by Speakers Corner, a cultural collective based in Bradford and led by young women.

These conversations, hosted by activist Samayya Afzal, look at themes around Peaceophobia and combine lived experiences with cutting political, social, and academic commentary. They explore systematic and insitutionalised racism and how it affects people on a daily basis; how faith is part of a young Muslim's day-to-day life; why Peaceophobia was created, and examples of Islamophobia from the perspective of young Muslim women; and car culture scene in Bradford from different perspectives.

Watch all four films below.

Common Wealth and Fuel present Peaceophobia in Glasgow this summer: Tramway is staging the award-winning show in Q-Park Candleriggs, Merchant City  from from 15 to 17 June.
